Rocket launches in Florida: Here's an updating list of all 2025 missions from Cape Canaveral

Florida's Space Coast — home of NASA's Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station — is the reigning rocket launch capital of the world.
Last year saw a new annual record of 93 launches, with the final mission of 2024 taking flight on New Year's Eve . Will that record fall by the wayside by the end of 2025?

1. SpaceX Thuraya 4
SpaceX launched the first rocket of 2025 from Florida's Space Coast amid crystal-clear skies Jan. 3, sending the Thuraya 4 satellite into geosynchronous orbit for a telecommunications company based in the United Arab Emirates.
2. SpaceX Starlink 6-71
After being pushed back multiple times, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched Jan. 6 at the end of the allotted launch window for the day. Its payload was 24 new Starlink satellites for the ever-growing satellite internet constellation.
3. SpaceX Starlink 12-11
SpaceX launched the Space Coast's third orbital rocket thus far in 2025 on Jan. 8, startling hundreds of birds into flight from trees and vegetation near pad 39A at KSC.
4. SpaceX Starlink 12-12
On Friday, Jan. 10, SpaceX launched their latest batch of Starlink satellites. This mission saw the first-stage booster set a record 25 flights. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 2:11 p.m. from Cape Canaveral, Space Launch Complex 40.
5. SpaceX Starlink 12-4
Cloaked by cloud cover, a rumbling SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket promptly vanished from view from various vantage points across the Space Coast swiftly after liftoff at 11:47 a.m. Jan. 13 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
6. SpaceX Firefly Blue Ghost and ispace RESILIENCE
Two lunar landers launched to the moon atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 1:11 a.m. Jan. 15 from Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A. Firefly's Blue Ghost lander carried 10 science and technology payloads for NASA.
7. Blue Origin New Glenn maiden mission
Lumbering off the launch pad from a billowing fiery cloud, Blue Origin's mighty 321-foot-tall New Glenn rocket hurtled into the history books at 2:03 a.m. Jan. 16 on its maiden mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
8. SpaceX Starlink 13-1
In the Space Coast's eighth launch of 2025 thus far , a SpaceX Falcon 9 took flight on another Starlink mission at 12:24 a.m. Jan. 21 from pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
9. SpaceX Starlink 12-7
Monday's Space Coast rush-hour commuters may have been surprised by a sight in the skies: a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket streaking skyward from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 5:05 p.m. EST Jan. 27 from Launch Complex 40.
10. SpaceX SpainSat NG-1
SpaceX launched the first of two satellites in the SpainSat series . SpainSat NG-1 took off right on time at 8:34 p.m . on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A.
11. SpaceX Starlink 12-3
The fog was so thick that the shrouded rocket was scarcely visible on SpaceX's own webcast. But a Falcon 9 lifted off at 5:15 a.m. Feb. 4 from Launch Complex 40 during a National Weather Service dense fog advisory .
12. SpaceX Maxar 3
With blaring sonic booms, a Falcon 9 first-stage booster descended and touched down Feb. 4 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, wrapping up a SpaceX launch doubleheader day after lifting off at 6:13 p.m. from NASA's neighboring Kennedy Space Center.
13. SpaceX Starlink 12-9
On a sunny Saturday afternoon , SpaceX launched its latest batch of Starlink satellites. The launch happened to fall on Super Bowl weekend, bringing double entertainment for many. Liftoff occurred at 2:18 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40.
14. SpaceX Starlink 12-18
Beneath a blue sky dotted with thin white clouds, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket bolted aloft from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 1:53 p.m. Feb. 11 on the 14th orbital rocket launch of the year from Florida's Space Coast.
15. SpaceX Starlink 12-8
Lifting off at 1:14 a.m ., early Feb. 15 from Cape Canaveral SLC-40, the rocket vanished into the clouds. This Falcon 9 booster holds the reusability record for now, as it marked the 26th time this Falcon 9 had been flown and landed.
16. SpaceX Starlink 10-12
The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket bolted skyward at 6:21 p.m. Feb. 18 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Then a bit more than eight minutes later, the first-stage booster landed in the Bahamas for the first time, completing its unique international circuit.
17. SpaceX Starlink 12-14
On a cold Friday morning, SpaceX launched its latest batch of Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40. Launch occurred at 10:19 a.m., and saw the 21st flight of the first-stage booster .
18. SpaceX Intuitive Machines IM-2 (Athena)
The second lunar lander by Intuitive Machines launched to the moon, lifting off at 7:16 p.m., on Wednesday, February 26. Launch was atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A. The lander, known as Athena, is carrying NASA science which will benefit future human exploration. It is also carrying various science and technology payloads by private companies.
19. SpaceX Starlink 12-13
A little more than three hours after Feb. 26 IM-2 liftoff, a second SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched at 10:34 p.m. from adjacent Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This Starlink mission, which lifted 21 internet-beaming satellites into low-Earth orbit, completed a nighttime launch doubleheader.
20. SpaceX Starlink 12-20
SpaceX launched another Falcon 9 rocket during the Oscars ceremony, sending up a payload of 21 Starlink broadband satellites at 9:24 p.m. March 2 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
21. SpaceX Starlink 12-21
Roughly 3½ hours after the March 12 Crew-10 scrub , SpaceX crews launched a different Falcon 9 carrying 21 Starlink satellites at 10:35 p.m. from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
22. NASA's SpaceX Crew-10
Shortly before sunset March 14, NASA's SpaceX Crew-10 roared off the launch pad aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, tearing past white, wispy cirrus clouds above Kennedy Space Center en route to rendezvous with the International Space Station.
23. SpaceX Starlink 12-16
Nipping at the heels of NASA's SpaceX Crew-10 launch the previous evening, SpaceX successfully targeted another Falcon 9 launch March 15 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
24. SpaceX Starlink 12-15
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket took flight the afternoon of March 18 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station — a couple of hours before Boeing Starliner astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were scheduled to splash down off the Sunshine State after their unexpectedly long stay aboard the International Space Station.
25. SpaceX NROL-69
A SpaceX Falcon 9 took flight from Florida's Space Coast on March 24 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and delivered a national security payload designed, built and operated by the National Reconnaissance Office up into orbit.
26. SpaceX Starlink 6-80
Just hours before the Fram2 mission, the delayed Starlink 6-80 mission lifted off from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40 . The launch occurred at 3:53 p.m. on March 31.
27. SpaceX Fram2
Even though storms just rolled off shore , the record-breaking crew of Fram2 lifted off right on time at 9:46 p.m. on March 31. The Falcon 9 rocket bolted off KSC Pad 39A and into a southern trajectory as lightning flashed in the distance.
28. SpaceX Starlink 6-72
A Falcon 9 rocket delivered 28 Starlink internet satellites during this Saturday night launch. Liftoff occurred at 11:07 p.m. on April 5, from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40.
29. SpaceX Starlink 12-17
After two days of scrubs, the Falcon 9 rocket carried 21 Starlink internet satellites to orbit. Liftoff occurred at 8:53 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A.
30. SpaceX Starlink 6-73
Seconds after the stroke of midnight April 14, a SpaceX Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on a noteworthy endurance-test mission: The first-stage booster completed its unprecedented 27th launch and landing.
31. NASA-SpaceX CRS-32
Generating window-rattling sonic booms in the cloudless predawn air, NASA and SpaceX teamed up April 21 to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on a resupply run to the International Space Station at 4:15 a.m. EDT from Kennedy Space Center.
32. SpaceX Bandwagon-3
SpaceX launched the second delivery mission of the day on the evening of April 21. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 8:48 p.m. from Cape Canaveral SLC-40. Just over eight minutes later, the booster landed at Landing Zone 2, creating a Space Coast sonic boom. The three payload onboard made up the Bandwagon-3 mission − SpaceX's third rideshare mission.
33. SpaceX Starlink 6-74
SpaceX's Starlink 6-74 mission lifted off at 9:52 p.m. April 24 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station . The Space Force's 45th Weather Squadron had pegged the odds of "go for launch" weather at greater than 95%, citing a warm, dry weather pattern at the spaceport.
34. SpaceX Starlink 12-23
SpaceX launched the latest batch of internet satellites at 10:09 p.m. on April 27 from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40 . The liftoff time was pushed back by 49 minutes, a rarity for a rocket launch.
35. ULA Amazon Project Kuiper KA-01
A ULA Atlas V with five solid rocket boosters lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 7:01 p.m. April 28 carrying Amazon's first production batch of Project Kuiper satellites into low-Earth orbit.
36. SpaceX Starlink 12-10
Hours after ULA's first Project Kuiper production launch on April 28, SpaceX's sprawling Starlink constellation — the undisputed global satellite internet leader — added 23 more satellites via a 10:34 p.m. Falcon 9 launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
37. SpaceX Starlink 6-75
The Starlink 6-75 mission launched into partly cloudy skies on 9:51 p.m. on May 1 from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40. It was the 18th flight of the first-stage booster.
38. SpaceX Starlink 6-84
SpaceX boosted its carrying capacity of Starlink internet-beaming satellites to 29 during a predawn Falcon 9 rocket liftoff at 4:54 a.m. May 4 , from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
39. SpaceX Starlink 6-93
Just one day after Cinco de Mayo, Florida's Space Coast racked up its 39th orbital rocket launch of the year with another SpaceX Starlink nighttime liftoff at 9:17 p.m. May 6 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
40. SpaceX Starlink 6-91
Hours after the National Weather Service issued flood advisories for portions of rain-socked North Brevard, skies cleared and SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 at 2:28 a.m. May 10 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
